Alert Networks LLC ("Alert Networks," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our services.
By accessing our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described herein.
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including but not limited to your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, account credentials, and billing information. We may also collect information you submit through forms, support requests, or other interactions with our platform.
In addition, we may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and usage data. This information helps us operate, maintain, and improve our services.
Alert Networks collects precise (GPS) location data from your mobile device when you grant permission. We use this data to provide core app functionality, including displaying nearby alerts and leads on an interactive map, enabling team member location sharing for field coordination and safety, and supporting navigation to alert and lead addresses through third-party mapping services (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze).
With your permission, Alert Networks may collect precise location data when the app is closed or not actively in use. This helps enable ongoing monitoring for nearby alerts and supports optional team location visibility for coordination and safety. Location updates occur periodically while background location is enabled.
When location tracking and sharing are enabled, your location data (such as geographic coordinates, accuracy, and timestamp) may be visible to other members of your organization or team within the app. This information is transmitted to and stored on our servers to enable real-time team visibility. Our servers are hosted using Google Firebase.
We retain location data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide location-based features. We do not retain historical location trails for longer than needed for active functionality, unless required for security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
Location data collection is not automatic. You must explicitly grant location permission when prompted by the app, and you may revoke location access at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access will prevent map-based features and team location sharing from functioning, but it will not affect other app functionality. Administrative or back-office users who do not use map features are not required to enable location access.
Third-party mapping providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We may use the information we collect for purposes including, but not limited to:
